I've never handled a Large Sebenza, but my Umnumzaan is a nice one to. And I really like the "Rhino" top false edge. Makes it look tough.

That is a beautiful knife. If I were ever to spring for a Reeve knife, that would be the one!

Another thing I like about it is that the handle slabs are not smooth. The grooves make for a very secure hand hold.

Well a friend of mine had a pimped out Strider that has some serious work done to it. It is a CC SNG with tan grip, carbonized tip, flame cut titanium handle, and a few other things. He is a custom knife maker and do some serious work on existing blades too. Hopefully it will be waiting on me when I get home tonight. I will have to take a few pics when it gets here.

I keep meaning to get a good folder to replace the HEST Folder, but I use my Leatherman's so often it is hard to justify a folder. I use the blades about 50 percent of the time. The screwdriver and pliers/cutters are extremely handy.

I need to send my HEST in, it developed the wobble and almost closed on me. It is a 1st gen so maybe I will get a replacement. Still no pics of the Strider.

OK, I've had the Ontario Rat II folder now since the 25th of march. After using it for the normal edc pocket duties I am of the opinion, that it is a most excellent buy for the $28.00 I paid for it. It is of course a smaller knife, what with a 3 inch blade, a 4 inch handle and an overall unfolded length of 7 inches.

It has performed admirably for me and never missed a beat. Now mind you, it is NOT an outdoors, Strider or Hinderer folder but for NORMAL edc duties it performs well and carries Virtually unnoticed.

I would recommend it to anyone that needs a good small edc blade and that does not want to spend much money. I don't think you can go wrong with this offering.

Anyone have experience with the spyderco leafstorm? It has an interesting blade shape with nice high hollow ground s30v blade. The Wife says the knife isn't scary and she thinks most are. Seems like a nice little edc that is very light. I like that there isn't a stainless steel liner on the side obverse of the titanium frame lock.

I traded for it and it had some 'lock rock'. It was sent in for service. They adjusted the lock bar tension. It now dual engagement points, one for normal opening with full lockup. If you open it slowly enough it will do a lighter engagement just barely locking it open.

Toast, I think what you are calling dual engagement is just the nature of the beast. Virtually all my linerlocks/framelocks do this. Engage further when "Snapped" open Vs slow and easy.
