My 24 yr old son cut down a small tree for us and used the 1311 to cut off all of the limbs.
He asked me to leave this blade to him in my will because I told him I would never sell it.
Another guy smitten with 1311 love!

I got one for each of my four kids, one for my wife, one for me... and a spare just in case something bad happens. The 1311 will be a legend someday.

I'll probably regret not getting one, but I never used my Dogfather, so I sold it. I'm much more fond of smaller knives.

1311s are a value-filled big blade with so much to like about it. I understand why he (and most) "love" it.
I got two before they were no longer available, both with my JYD # on them...neither will be going anywhere too far from me and mine.

MOAD is just a great knife! In fact it has spoiled thing for me...
