Lets see what you have.

Here is my current one.

It is a 6.2L diesel mechanically injected so it is capable of running on waste oil and no electronics to get fried pretty much as basic as they come.

If I had to pick, some kind of VW Type 1 based vehicle or a two-stroke motorcycle. Because I'm comfortable working on them and they are simple to maintain and parts are plentiful or easy to make. Unfortunately, currently this is it frown

Thanks. Yea i know, my last Jimmy was smashed by a doofus that couldnt drive in the snow, I parked it while covered in salt after the accident and that was the end of him. Now i refuse to drive this one in the snow unless its an emergency of course.
What year is the diesel? i love it

thinking i want an old truck at some point but thats down the road.

i've been doing a few maintantience things for my car like new belts, checking all the fluids, and whatever else comes to mind. i think I wIll give it a good dejunking and detail job sometime this week. i also think i'm going to organize and update my tool kit as well as setup an on the road emergency sort of kit. after all that it should be good for another 100,000 miles or TEOTWAWKI or whichever comes first....

A friend of mine in high school had one of these, with a diesel engine. I always thought it was so cool. Boy, I'd love to have that thing now.
