Anybody know whether this steel will take a forced patina with white vinegar?

I don't have any personal experience with it but someone posted on a forum that he tried to patina a blade and it did not take well.

It wont work. 12C27 was developed as a high corrosion resistant steel. The new 12C27M that will be replacing the normal one is designed to be dishwasher save.

If you search Sandvik knife steel in google their site is informative and really interesting.
