I already put black/blue G-10 on it with brass pins and a brass tube. I retrospect, I should have gone stainless. It takes a super edge though. It's sharp even without much of a strop.
It is a paste. I have an M4 Spydie Mule that would rust from sitting with air tool oil on it.
Sounds like you need to get rid of that thing. I might know a guy.
