Wow! I haven't had any problems with my 0566.
Maybe they had an issue. Midway has them right now for $99.00. Savings of $40-50.
I'm thinking of buying another just because this deal is so good.

That's a smoking price for a lot of folder!

I've never had a ZT knife. But I have "Held" a couple and they seemed very well made and felt pretty good in the hand. Their "Rep" is VERY good, and being a Hindered designed blade you know it's got what it needs.

Most all the folks the have them really like them and say they are the next best thing to a Hinderer hand made.

ColdOne bought a Hinderer at Blade a few years ago. When he tried to discuss something with Rick, Chris got so angry that he sold the knife there at the show. shocked Seems that Hinderer needs to work on his "people skills". (considering the flap at B/F, I guess I should talk! blush)

WOW! A maker to be like that is bad Ju Ju. But It seems enough folks are enamored of his blades that he can get by with it, at least for now.

Well, it could have been a clash of personalities, but Chris is a pretty cool guy. Maybe the show pressure was getting to Hinderer. cool

I've personally talked to Rick and the Hinderer family a dozen of times, and didn't get anything but a good conversations. My experience could be different from everyone else though.

The ZT0566 is my first EDC knife that isn't a "use it , loose it, buy another Big5 cheap o".
I don't have much experience with decent folders. That said, this thing is built like a hank. Heavy and solid. I like heavy when it comes to a working blade.
Just about every review I've read says its a great deal at full price. At $99 it's a steal. Especially when you have an iron clad lifetime guarantee.
