It is a hoyt reflex, the last of the finger compounds almost every other one is now made for release shooting. I have never been able to get used to sooting a release I guess 25 years of shooting fingers has ruined me. Lol

I don't know why, but a mechanical release does a big old nothing for me. Shame, b/c I look at the people shooting the compounds at the range and the power and accuracy makes me drool some!

That's like saying an AR does nothing for me laugh

The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

Meh I think it compares more saying a high power scope does nothing for me, both irons and scopes have advantages and disadvantages just like finger shooting and release shooting.

Brings back memories!
I shot quite a bit in HS, hunted as well for years.
Compounds have come a long way the past 40 years, truly amazing.
I'm going to get back into it but this time keeping it old school with either a long bow or recurve. Been doing some on line research and a breakdown seems the way to go for me. Simple, quality, handmade is what I'm looking for. Any suggestions for builders?
