Yup, already called off church for tonight. Our Wx said it will get more severe the farther East it gets. They’re saying heavy rain, Isolated Tornados and golf ball to baseball size hail are all possible. They're saying starting around 4:30 or so.

Randy, we just watched the meteorologist on TV ; we have storms moving in overnight and then heading your way. However, it looks like they will be more severe as they move Eastward toward you and Sunday looks to be a rough day for you., so pay close attention to the weather ! Have a safe place to go to just in case. wink

Found this nifty little bullet energy calculator today. Don’t know how accurate it is but seems to at least be in the ballpark.

Congratulations TOM!

I agree with you Ray. I AM NOT A VIETNAM VETERAN. I am a Vietnam ERA Veteran. BIG difference, or should be. ONLY those who were actually “IN COUNTRY” should be considered Vietnam Vets, PERIOD.

Well, anyone who chose to serve our country during that turbulent time deserves credit. wink

On a different note, the doctor did a Mohs surgery on my skin cancer spot and it came out negative, so that really made my day. smile The hot dog at Sam's tasted really good after that. smile

You are correct, Randy. They were not treated well by some members of the public. And yes, being in an active duty status during 1955 to 1975 (I think it is) classifies a person as a Vietnam vet. Oddly enough, even someone who was in the Air Force. However, in my opinion, a Vietnam vet is one who actually served in that country.

Yup, Thank you Tom. I feel for those who served “in Country” and then were ostracized by the so-called peace loving citizens. (Not to mention nameless traitors), Jane, among others.

I am considered a Vietnam era Vet. I never was nor will ever claim to be a Vietnam Veteran. Our “Combat” vets deserve more than they got and in many cases get today.
