Morning Yard!
Glad to see you back on your feet Ray! Literally and figuratively.
I didn't start the chicken coop project. I think I'll wait until my sister in law's (plural) visit next week. I did go on my ATV trip. That was probably my favorite all time ride ever. Absolutely beautiful. But it definitely wasn't a beginner's trail. Parts of it were just plain rough and technical. Both our rigs sustained at least a little damage. I don't think I would have been able to make it on my old ATV tires so I'm glad I replaced them. I was so sore when I got home, I could barely walk. That last 10 miles (out of 40) was brutal.
Parts of the trails really reminded me of some of the trails on our old farm in the Ozarks. If you dropped them in the Rocky Mountains.

Hi everybody! I hope everyone is doing well. I had another episode of my legs giving out and ended up in rehab. I’m back now and I wanted to thank everyone for their concern and prayers. They are very appreciated.

I hear ya guys. But not being able to do much because of my back I’ve been “playing” with rebuilding our GHB and also my “traveling” gun bag. I’ve settled, for now at least, on putting my AP5 in a Maxped Pigmy Falcon pack along with a nylon belt that holds 2 M4 Molle II mag pouches. Each pouch holds two thirty round mags. Those plus the 10 rounder in the gun gives me 129 rounds of “Extraction” devices. And I’ve also got a leatherman, compass, Morakniv with built in ferro rod and some PJCB in a small metal film container. Oh and I have a small FAK in there as well. HOPEFULLY well never need it, but in light of recent events…
It occupies my mind and gives me something to do to take my mind off the venomous garbage “They” claim they’re not saying.

Afternoon Yard!
It's been a heck of a week. I'm trying to minimize my time on social media. We are literally at a watershed moment as a nation. I would put Kirk's assassination and the reactions on par with MLK's assassination.
I need to get motivated and build a new hen house before the weather gets too cold. Otherwise, I'm going to try and get some time in the mountains on Monday. I need to blow off some steam.

Unfortunately there are PLENTY of "lefties" that agree with and spread radical and hateful ideas. As far as Biden is concerned he is capable of saying anything and unfortunately will get away with it. It is really sad that political propaganda can influence some people into committing heinous acts.

As this infamous day draws to a close, I reflect where I was when it happened. My Dad and I had just walked into the Ford dealership to have his van fixed from a recall and watched the 2nd plane slam into the tower.
We forgot momentarily why we were there and stood dumbstruck over what we had just seen. Then we found out this was the second senseless brutal act.
And all this unnecessary useless loss of life for no other reason than our refusal to bow down and worship a false leader who proclaims we must die because we are not like them. The world is full of insanity.
We may all be different, but that does not mean we should kill each other because of our differences. We should all learn, and practice living together without resorting to senseless killing only because we do not agree.

It took a few seconds to click with me, then I remembered who he was. A GREAT man. He REALLY had his life in line and I firmly Believe GOD WAS on his side. Such a tragic loss for people of morality, a sense of right from wrong and a willingness to educate people on the differences.
