So I'm gathering that the SR77 is better applied to a large "chopper" AKA the Dog Father. When you see these other Bowie style blades made from VG10, CPM3V, I'm not sure if they do larger blades in a CPMS30V or not, but the SR77 performs better in the larger knives than the other mentioned steels?
From what I have read, the CPM3V has better abrassion resistance than SR77 (or edge holding ability)but the SR77 is tougher than the CPM3V (or more shock absorbing)is this an accurate assessment?
