I am about 9 minutes from good deer hunting and if I was looking for rabbits ,gophers and ducks it would be 9 minutes on foot. There are some definite pluses
to living in the boonies.
Great rifle now you have an excuse to get a mat5ching calibre singkle action revolver. I like the re released Ruger Flattops.
I am keeping an eye out for a nice bow myself.
I'm about 9/10th of a mile from the Osceola National Forest. It's got some pretty good Deer hunting in the state. I cannot wait. Plus there's about 100 acres of unused woods that connect to my backyard that's got its share of deer.
A revolver in .44 magnum is my next handgun.
