How much cash more would you be willing to pay for a scrapyard knife with a really well done edge?
Maybe less than Dan would have to charge for the extra hand work. It would increase the price by $15 to $30 per unit, depending on the knife size and just how finished the edge is. It would really slow down production. At least that's my best guess. The factory edges are getting better overall, though, except for the Yard Keeper, which was probably rushed for Blade. I kidded the guy (Bob?) with the long hair when I bought my yard keepers at Blade about the edges. I aked him if they were done on concrete steps just before the show. But my new Urban Mutt came with a decent "utility" edge. The Yard Hook and S6s I got at Blade had decent edges, too.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
