yeah. i liked the whole really thick sabre ground door breaching blade thing. its what dan meant it to be, and sure many of use dont really need to breach doors everyday, but it was cool and it served its purposes well, and people complained it didn't cut that well. (well its meant for prying so its not going to the the best cutter) and dan made the grind different maybe to stop from everyone complaining.
idk. I feel i feel like dan could have left it how it was, but was maybe (idk though) pressured into making the DMLE because of all the talk of it not being able to cut that well. maybe if everyone would have thought a little and didn't complain that it didn't chop good or something you would all have DFLE's right now. i mean its meant to pry, so you pry with it. you wouldn't buy a dogfather and say it doesn't do fine work good enough, and you dont buy a dumpster mutt and say it doesn't cut good enough.
yeah so i just think that dan felt he should try to make it to fit your standards instead of what he intended it to do. but i havn't been around for as long as you guys so you may think different.
