I like the Ratmandu and Urban Mutt better, but I have not actually used the Badger Attack. There is only one way to settle this for me. Next comparison will be these three Busse-made knives, slicing, chopping, notching, and batoning. The RMD fits my hand perfectly, but it is heavier and larger overall than the DM or UM. And the Badger Attack has that broad blade and big handle. It is time I found out what each of them can do in yard. I'm sure they all have their strengths. Should be fun. For "urban" survival tests, I guess a little prying and sticking are in order, eh? And maybe ease of concealed carry. The Badger Attack feels like a "Survival Knife", like the excellent Gerber LMF 2, which from personal testing I have respect for.
I can't wait to see the results... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
I'd have to agree with many here, DM for Urban due to the thicker blade, and RMD in the bush because of the thinner blade and handle design. I don't have enough experience with the BATAC to be sure about how I'd rate it yet.
