I meant to put the cost into the equation but for what ever reason I didn't. And I do agree the best bang for the buck would be the RD-7 especially since it's a little cheaper and includes a sheath.

The problems with these types of things is that they're so subjective. What I like and you like in a knife are bound to be different. And one little area of performance can make or break a knife when it comes to our own predjuices.
