I recently bought a twin-pack of lights at Sam's Club; they are 3-watt Luxeon L.E.D. lights using three AAA batteries each. I prefer the availability and price of the AAA's over the CR-123's, though the CR-123's are supposed to burn better/last longer, etc. The lights are rated at 80 lumens, and seem very bright to me. I also have a couple of old MagLite rechargable lights, as well as a LOT of other lights with bulbs or L.E.D.'s. That's not counting the small Photon-type lights I bought from County Comm.com.
