When I was younger I had a crotch Rocket, a Yamaha FZR 400. At the time it was the best handling motorcycle on the market because of its Aluminum frame and swing arm. I admit I did some really dumb crap on that bike. One day I woke up and realized that I was doing some dumb stuff on that bike and said to myself that if I'm going to be doing dumb stuff then I might as well shoot for Farm Animal Stupid. So I sought to increase horsepower.

What's the best way to increase horsepower? A bigger engine. So I put in a 600cc engine. The motor mounts had to be reworked but it was worth it. Next step was a Vance and Hines pipe, stage 3 intake kit, 5 angle valve job, bored it 30 thousandths over, and a few other tweaks.

When we got it all assembled and tweaked I took it out for the first time. After opening it up I grinned ear to ear for the next three days.
