Well, I got my Yard Guard a few days ago being my first knife ever purchased I creamed my pants when I pulled it from the cardboard sheath. It is so beautiful. I'll be sure to hack up somethine pretty soon with it and wip the smirk from it's face.

Anyhow, the reason I am posting is to find out about carrying options. I have my second blade on the way (gen 2 Howling Rat). I would like to carry them together and have them available and usable but not too cumbersome. I spoke with Chuddy about the piggyback sheath he made. His opinion is that it is very heavy. I intend to backpack and hike and don't want to be weighed down.

So far, the best idea I had was to use a Spec Ops sheath for the YG. It is functional and lightweight... and a lot of people really like em. The problem comes that I have is determining how to carry the HR with it. Is it possible to attach a Kydex to the Spec Ops for a lightweight piggyback? I there such thing as a quality fully Kydex piggyback sheath? Am I overthinking this whole thing and should just get 2 sheaths one for each hip?

If you all have other interesting ideas, feel free to share.

Thanks!
