I do that sort of thing all the time, apprentice. Except I usually wait until I have the money in hand before I purchase a new knife. Buying a knife on credit and trying to figure out how to pay for it later usually doesn't work out well for me . . . or my wife!
Yeah, I hear ya. I'm still within my means if I just choose to make payments, but I'd rather just pay off as much as possible as soon as possible. The knives I'm selling are all on the "I'll sell them someday" list anyway.
