GF - I have to agree with you, the catch does take away from the "flow". However, to each his own. Incidentally, I carry my Cold Steel X2 Voyager everywhere I go. I only had to pull it about an inch or so out of my pocket before a rather large rough looking fellow decided to look for an easier target. It pays to be prepared! Tom

I agree completely, in my work outfit I have my Howling Fat on my belt and a CRKT M21-04 in my pocket and a Taurus .357 in the truck. I try to stay prepared. In formal attire I maintain the M21 till my Rat Trap gets here! If a person swings a blade at me I will do my best to avoid it, but in no capacity would I attempt to "catch" it with a 1" catch right next to my hand. Of coarse, I am not trained in the practice of catching knives and I am sure there are a few....very few who would feel comfortable employing such tactics...but then again, they might be such incredable badasses that they could just stomp a holw in you so quick they wouldn't need the knife ie...the fatman from Cold Steel
