A howler seems like the perfect size for carry/ utility/ self-defence
I think the Coot makes a better defense tool, so I carry the coot in the city and howler in the country.
is it a more efficient stabber??
Think of all the resistance flesh has....you could put an ink pen into someone's abdomen. The coot has a finer blade, but I think they both would "put a hurtin" on the recipient if either one was used in self defense.
