I don't have a small one in my pocket at all times. Probably should since it is easy to be separated from your car, house or base camp. I have to rethink a small pocket kit - especially one that is airline friendly.
A good comfortable size for carry in a pocket is one of those Plano fly boxes from Walmart. You can see pics from this thread from the Swamp:
