That's true, but it's a very capable "small" knife. As I wrote in the combat knife comparison, a Mutt should handle just about anything that the S6 would, but in a more compact package. 1/2-inch difference in the grip doesn't seem like a lot, but it feels a lot different, with the S6 being more comfortable (to me anyway). However, while the S6 is by no means huge, it's big enough that I believe it would tend to catch on more and be less easy to carry. Either the S6 or the Mutt can fill the combat knife niche (which in modern use is more tool than weapon) admirably; which one you choose is a matter of preference -- comfort vs compact.
