I personally really like the G-10 RMDs. First, the smooth touch of the G-10 and second, the extra heft that it gives the knife compared to micarta.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with the coating, maybe it's just me. I personally don't mind coatings but yes, non coatings are more easily cleanable. I just think the coating gives the knife some character after hard use.

I wish I was able to get the 2007 Special Edition of the FBM in DC but sadly I couldn't.
