Bruce - GET REAL!!! Would you expect the SS4 to perform EXACTLY the same as the DogFather?!? They are both outstanding knives, but meant for different purposes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> After SO MANY Dogs were howling for a Bussekin stainless, small knife, Dan provided for us - complete with mudder handles!! I'm sure that these blades will out-perform anything similar from other companies! We should appreciate his work!!!


Jim Crowell, who collaborated with Reggie Barker on the design of the
Crowell-Barker competition knife for Browning, stopped at the ScrapYard booth. He was talking with Dan about the knives and "grilling" him, and Jim just couldn't believe that knives of this quality were actually being made here in the U.S.! He was shocked when he asked Dan "who makes these knives for you?" and Dan replied "I do"!!! Keep in mind that the Browning knives are outsourced to China! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> I was happy and proud to tell him that Bussekin products have a tremendously loyal following who believe in their products, as do the Busse folks with their HONEST life-time warranty!
