WOW stainless should break not bend so those vise photos are incredible.
I am SURE Vic meant no harm and it was simply that he was shocked by what happened and wanted to find out from his pals here what had caused a knife from the Bussekin to snap. However it was the worst possible timing before any testing and when most people still had not had a chance to get their knives unless they went to blade. As well there were a lot of people still unsure about a stainless steel.
WE all love you HornDog, you make this place much better by your presence.
I was always confident about the toughness because I knew there was no way that Bussekin would risk their rep. What I really want to see tested is some edge retention tests as well it would be cool to see a really really thin edge on a muppy and how it stands up. I know that does not make for as dramatic knife selling photos but I bet this is where the 154 will really shine.
I hope that all the controversy does not mean there will be no more 154 knives. I love S7 but having one steel for big hard use knives and one for little slicers seems very clever.
From my little poll it seems that there would be some serious support for a SKuppy(SKelly Muppy) and I bet these pics will help bring around some doubters.
