I might put a safety lanyard on mine. After I learn how to stick it better. I got out the WD-40 and Scotchbrite pad and cleaned off the dirt and sap. This is my first axe of this type. I like it even better than I thought I would. I had not planned on throwing it, but now that I think about it, it is less likely to break than my hawk.
