I was actually thinking about how I'd carry my DF when it shows up (why the heck is USPS routing from Illinois to Arizona, when I'm in New Hampshire...). And then I saw the Armorall Leather site, and [censored] they turn out some fine work. This could turn out to be an expensive toy once I buy all the accessories.

They offer what they are calling the "Dundee" option, basically just a scabbard on a sling loop that you can hang however you like. Does anybody have any analysis of the benefits or hazards of hanging a big blade under an arm pit? Or across the chest? For the latter I assume that a snap retention would be advised.
