i always use duct tape for the women, there's another product just like 550 that has a million and one uses
tyger i've said before i reall like what you've done to your CA and plan on wrapping my handle as well because i do find it a bit slippery.
i like wrapping a cord around a handle if the handle has slabs on it for the purpose of making it thicker, grippier or for cold weather.
i never liked the idea of just plain para cord wrapped handles though kind of like how some of the striders are.i dont find it comfortable.
i understand the idea of then having spare cord but then you've got a knife that hurts to use if you had to chop or use it hard with the cord removed.i also find it not to be very resilient and that the cord itself wears out rather quickly with regular use and laying around in the dirt.
it also attracts dirt, grime and moisture and would have to be replaced if used for skinning and soaked in blood.this is why i like to have micarta underneath as opposed to just cord for a handle.
you can see in this pic that the ranger entry tool on the top has a cord wrapped handle and thats the way it came and hurt like hell to swing.it just bit into my hands.
i sent it back to justin for some slabs and the improvement in control and comfort was through the roof.here it is on the right.
