OK, Coley, I'm telling you: I think you're wrong. I think more information is good. I think open discussion of issues is good. I think discussions can be handlded with substance and integrity, and to assume that they wouldn't be would be demeaning to others. I also think that things can and do get resolved on the web.

I do agree that "badmouthing" is bad form, but I don't think that any negative discussion about other knifemakers or their products automatically falls into the category of "badmouthing".

As far as that other stuff. I may be out of line as I am a newbie here, but, I'm going to say it anyway.

This is a ScrapYard sponsored site, right? So maybe we should limit the badmouthing, deserved or not, of another knifemaker. Some could perceive it as bad form and as if it is sanctioned by the Yard. Whether you agree with one side or the other, nothing will ever get resolved on the web. It will only result in more bad feelings by someone about someone else.

I'm thick skinned, so if I'm wrong or out of line, just tell me.
