The Wife is in the process of making us a boy... Not so sure I want that but I guess my desires no longer matter. She did however buy me a sword (LoTR), so that is really cool, lol. She also allows me to purchase pretty much what I want in terms of knives and is, for the most part, ok with me purchasing guns. We each have an allowance to use what we want it for.

I use knives for opening just about everything. I use them to cut my nails and cuticles (often ending up a bit bloody to the annoyance of The Wife). I use them to carve wood. I recently used my hatchet to cut up our hurricane Ike blown down shed. When (if) the SoD comes it will be used to clean up the back yard and for a camp knife.

I hope to be healthy enough to go camping sometime soon. Although with The Wife's current, uh, condition, I doubt I will be able to go camping for a long time.
