I imagine they're pretty close, Vic. I don't think Ethan would have been satisfied had Ka-Bar decided to use an alloy that wasn't as tough as the alloy Camillus used.
My thinking exactly. Ka-Bar introduced the new steel a few years ago without much fanfare. They use it in their Marine Combat knives now.
