I have never even held any of these knives but that will change real soon. from what I have read and seen the Busse is the top in the pecking order and the SY is the third, of course that has already been pointed out. For my personal tastes, I have always like the more plain styles with usage in mind. the SY handles look to be better for me, nothing against micarta it is not my thing (I have even tried it on 1911 pistols and did not like it). Also, the Busse designs seem to be to busy for me, but that is not saying that I will not own one someday. And lastly, for me SY appeals to me as the working mans blade. JMHO
