If you want to kill two birds with one stone I'd recommend the Busse Combat Basic 7! That will even keep up with a S6...
Except, of course, that Basic 7's are extremely rare and they're manufactured of Modified INFI, not INFI.
There are those who would argue that, because of the way Busse Combat builds its knives, an INFI knife achieves its maximum advantage over a rather short range of blade lengths . . . typically four to six inches. Above six inches, BC uses the wrong kind of handle materials and below 4", less expensive alloys than INFI exist that are more than adequate for a knife that size. I generally subscribe to that point of view. So I, for example, would buy neither a Fusion Battle Mistress (wrong handle) nor a Game Warden (alloy overkill). The only Busse knife I currently own is a Straight-Handled Satin Jack. And of the recent Busse offerings, my favorite by far is the Skinny ASH-1. Both feature 6" blades constructed of 3/16" thick INFI (perfect).
PS: For those who may be interested, Skinny ASH-1s are still available in the
Busse Company Store. Get 'em while you can.
