I think you're over looking one crucial factor between these two blades, and that's the lethal potential of the BDLE in a knife fight.

Kind of poor pics, but they're all I have access to right now.

Take into consideration how lethal the BDLE is for "pig sticking" someone. One quick strike between two ribs, and you've either hit the heart or a lung. Very lethal I'd say. Although I love the Yard Keeper, it wouldn't be nearly as effective for such attacks.
