do search and rescue crews use their knives for prying? i would think they know the conditions and circumstances they will encounter and arrive with the right tools for the job.
I'm thinking of the SAR crews around here, and I know that they go as light
as they possibly can so having a knife that can be utilized for additional
tasks means that they have less to carry.
