I worked with the DMCG enough to get a feel for what I had. I’m no fan of the small Busse Basic handle. The small Res-C grips that are standard on a lot of Scrap Yard knives work better for me. Though even they could be made bigger, to fit my gnarly tradesman's hands.

I stored the DMCG in my urban emergency bag. It hasn’t seen a lot of use because I haven’t encountered any dangerous urban emergencies. Which is just the way I like it.

Since I got a sheath for my Dumpster Mutt Double Cut. I’ve considered pulling the DMCG from my urban bag and replacing it with the DMDC. The Double Cut is not as good a railroad spike, but it is still plenty tough. It also has a full flat grind and cuts better. On the other hand, I always have pocket knives with me that can cut. So far I’ve let the DMCG keep its place.
