i think the GGDM would be the knife i would choose to take to war.that or the BATAC.
its mainly do to the size.the S6 would be a little bigger than what i would want but thats just me.the S6 also has a very fine tip.prying would be an important task i would think and that fine, thin tip might get hurt, even though its SR77.
is the dumpstermutt the nastiest slicer and dicer out there??...NO.but thats not what you take to war anyways.bring a spyderco or something maybe for fine cutting tasks to accompany the mutt.
the dumpstermutt does a superb job for what it was designed to be and thats a 100% sharpened prybar and it will still cut too.just read the write up on it on the home page here on the scrapyard site.in short here it is:
"We mated them with a bomb-proof, door-breaching blade that our our troops have been dreaming of and put a penetrator tip on this nearly 5/16" thick sabre ground hybrid Mutt. This combat hungry little pit bull is specifically designed for heavy military use and abuse, and will not be happy sitting at home in a drawer."
while a thin bladed slicer can really only excel in one thing and thats fine cutting a knife like the mutt can cut plenty well enough but also excel in other tasks from prying,stabbing,hammering,so-on and so-on.
good choice.whether you carry the CGDM or S6 in the field will probably depend on how much gear you go out there weighted down with.you cant loose either way.
i dont own one myself but i would prefer the extended butt/pomel of the BATAC and the INFI.its probably as tough as the mutt but cuts better, gets sharp easier and stays sharper longer.
good luck
