I don't have specific pictures (except for the two below), but Ban reshapes and replaces handles pretty often. I've seen a lot of people smooth out their machined handles.

I am not big on the swirly micarta. But, NO DOUBT Ban's workmanship is VERY good and that blade is freakin' gorgeous. I wish I could afford an AK...... with a blade like that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
