Actually my favorite is Makers Mark and Old Grand Dad
I do like Johnny Walker Blue when Jerry is drinking with me but I am a bourbon guy at heart

Maker's is our choice when in the Boundary Waters. An excellent drink that is affordable!
You need Bourbon to face those merskitters on the boundary waters. Patti and I used to go Crain Lake and Bemidji when we lived in MN. I was always thankful that they did not have a bag limit on how many mosquitoes you could shoot <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

Yep, those little buggers are just about the only negative about the outdoors. But they only really seem to get bad around dusk and dawn. Or on a portage between lakes! If you get a few stuck in the canoe while you are carrying it, they will chew you up as there is no draft to pull them out. I used to have a pit bull and she hated those things. One night it was so bad, so was crying! I looked at her belly when we got in the tent and it looked like one huge rash from all the skeeter bites. We now have a lab, and she is designed for that area. But ya, dark liquor is the the choice adult beverage we bring up there.
