Nothing really odd about mine.
Started out by me remembering the original Dawn of the Dead zombie movie. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />
Had to put a Scrapyard theme on it, so it became Dawn of the Dawg. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
Too long though, so I just used the acronym. DotD <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

After it was chosen, I realized that it had other connotations.
I work in the computer industry for one of those "Dot Com" companies.
Seeing as my first name is Dave, instead of Dot Com, I could say Dot Dave. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Given a choice between the two, I would choose the former. Much better
to think of zombies than computers. Especially, as I could use a DF on
a zombie without too much issue, but if I DF'd my computer...I would miss
out on my favorite forum. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
