No, the NMSFNO is not that much better a chopper than the Ratweiler. How could any knife in that size be? But it did out chop my Ratwieler and Chopweilers. But heck, if you have a Camp Tramp, SOD, CW, or RW, you don't really need a NMSFNO. Those are all fine choppers in the 7" to 8" blade size. I am just a chopperholic, I guess. No I have not handled the Tanker gray one. Is it full flat grind or high saber grind? No matter, any Dog Father is a great chopper. I just prefer the lighter, faster DFLE, but the CG will out chop it.
