Sounds like a winner. That tanker gray sure is pretty. I have SO many big knives, and I can choose any for my swamp trips (which are not very often anymore), and the DFLE is the one. I use it as a mini-machete and chopper. I had to chop through some big limbs that had fallen across a log I was crossing a creek on, and the DFLE did the job. It carries light, too in the Rainwalker dangler sheath I have for it.
