Great family trip but allow much more time if possible. I remember all the family trips and they were great. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Now we are just the two of us and hitting really remote places that we planned out when having young children with us. I always have guide books and maps on everything before I go to an area. I have been studying the Grand Canyon for years- made numerous extensive trips ( one month plus) and still can't get enough of it !! Up our way we are seeing a big increase in camping and such as folks are doing less expensive trips due to the economy. Make sure you have reservations.
