G10 is really nice for smaller blades, but not bigger ones, if you chop with it or use it hard, the vibrations carry to you hard!

Micarta is better for bigger blades (and looks sweet), but Res-C is the best for choppers (not as pretty), it absorbs lots of the vibrations/shock.
