I think you're probably right. The odds of the new Reg being constructed of 154CM are slim. But it's not entirely out of the question.

That would sacrifice all of that wonderful toughness that is at the heart of the Regulator's spirit! Maybe, possibly on an LE version, but that's a big risk on a knife this size unless you REALLY want to keep it looking pretty and are using it someplace extremely humid &/or by the sea... But if preventing corrrosion is the goal, INFI seems to do pretty well and is plenty tough...Please please please no stainless! Just one opinion... Thanks!
