The reg is thick and not the best slicer but a good convex sharpening can fix that. The stick tang thickness was a surprise to me too, I would like it to be thicker but it could be stronger than we both think. IDK

Its a excellent knife and you will be VERY happy but bushcraft was not the main design with this one. I think you can tell just by its looks what its good at <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
