I ended up buying my nephew a Leatherman Wave multitool for $68.94 @ Walmart.

I got to the knife section and it was a SAD Sight!
just JUNK everywhere! Cheap 420hc/440abc crap, EVERYthing made in china, all in tacky-looking anti-theft clear plastic packs.
NONE i would Ever carry myself!
