A good cabernet sauvignon with a steak is my favorite! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

That seems to be the only one I favor. Haven't had a white wine that I like yet. haven't tried many though.

Hard to find...but some folks make a good dry reisling that might work for ya. Also...start looking at local wineries (if you have some)...seems to be the trend to get blends going that are more dry, and don't have that fruity sweet sensation to them.

Personally, there's only two whites I can drink....pinot grigio from Grape Creek Wineries and one called a dirty girl from torre de pietra in Fredericksburg, Tx. Otherwise, it's the dark reds for me.

I like a really good chianti also...but man, they're hit / miss.
