Ok, after having this light for a few days, I really like it. For MOST of my purposes the med setting is just about perfect. The low beam provides plenty of light for getting around the house in the dark and makes a good reading light to boot! The tail switch SEEMS to have gotten a little easier to operate, or it may just be me getting used to it. The Strobe, well let's just say it is nice. It is VERY disorienting and really shows up for quite a distance so it can be used as a signal device if needed. I would give it 4 stars. That because I wish that it had the tail switch and a side switch to cycle through the different modes.
